Visit a Board-Certified Orthodontist for Expert Care

At North Oaks Dental, you know you’re receiving top quality orthodontic care, because you’ll be treated by a board-certified orthodontist. Dr. Justin Kammo offers treatment with either traditional or ceramic braces or clear aligners.

We recommend that parents bring their children for an initial orthodontic exam at age 7. This appointment will be a great time to assess crossbites, crowding, and other potential problems. Bringing your child in at an early age may allow us to begin interceptive treatment to minimize the need for braces or shorten their treatment time when your child is older.

While teens and adults may be good candidates for Invisalign®, younger smiles or smiles with more complex alignment issues may respond better to treatment with braces. In addition to standard metal braces, we offer clear ceramic braces. With tooth-colored brackets and wires, they won’t stand out as much in your smile.

Orthodontics also can be combined with other cosmetic services as part of a complete smile makeover.

Invisalign® Can Enhance Your Smile

As effective as brackets and wire can be, many adults prefer Invisalign® instead. The plastic aligners are:

  • Clear, making them practically invisible
  • Comfortable, with no edges or wires to irritate your mouth
  • Convenient, since you remove the aligners when brushing your teeth and eating
  • Quick, as many patients complete their treatment in as few as 12 months

Call 248-712-1522 today to request a free consultation at our office. Our expert team is ready to help you get started with orthodontics in Royal Oak, either Invisalign® treatment or braces! You can also make an appointment online.

*Approval response is provided quickly, and the offer is subject to credit approval. Minimum monthly payments are required. See our office for complete details. Payments are based on $5,250 treatment financed over 24 months. Other options are available.

Commonly Asked Questions About Orthodontics

How much does orthodontics cost?

Each patient is different, with a unique set of wants and needs. It is not possible to give you an estimate on your orthodontic treatment until we’ve first performed an exam on your mouth and worked up treatment options for you. Then we can make sure you have all the information you need, including cost, to decide on the orthodontic care that’s right for you. We offer financing as low as $218 per month to help manage your smile investment.

Which type of orthodontics is best?

We offer several great orthodontics options depending on your circumstances. Your individual case will determine in large part which type of orthodontics will work best for you. We provide standard metal braces, clear ceramic braces, and Invisalign orthodontics. We will go over your options with you and help you make the right choice for your smile goals.

Does dental insurance cover orthodontics?

Only your dental insurance provider can tell you about the specific benefits included in your plan, but in many cases, at least a portion of orthodontic care can be covered. If you want to know more about our payment options at North Oaks Dental, talk to us about our in-house financing and third-party financing through CareCredit or LendingClub.
