Get Great-Looking Gums With Gummy Smile Treatment in Royal Oak

Even if your teeth look great, your smile may be less than stellar if the teeth are overshadowed by excess gum tissue. Dr. Alvin Daboul or one of our other Royal Oak, MI dentists can painlessly remove tissue with a gummy smile treatment and give you a more attractive balance of teeth and gums.

Painless Treatment with Laser Technology

Though some dentists use a scalpel to remove excess gum tissue, at North Oaks Dental we use a laser to painlessly reshape your gumline. With laser dentistry, a gummy smile procedure is fast and precise. You can go back to work or resume your regular activity right after the treatment. With no sutures involved, there is a very low risk of infection following the procedure, and you’ll heal more quickly.

Because the procedure is so quick and discomfort is minimal, you’ll likely require only local anesthesia. If you’re anxious, you can also get dental sedation. Unlike most general dentists, we give you three choices for sedation: nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”), oral sedation, or IV sedation.

Scheduling Is Simple With Extended Hours

Your gummy smile procedure won’t take long, thanks to laser dentistry. But we make it even more convenient by offering extended hours at our Royal Oak, MI office. We’re open until 6 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 7 p.m. on Tuesday, and 1 p.m. on Saturday.

To schedule a gummy smile treatment, call North Oaks Dental at 248-712-1522. In addition to Royal Oak, we welcome patients from nearby communities like Troy, Clawson, Madison Heights, Huntington Woods, Southfield, and Ferndale.
