A dental bridge is, if you want to really kind of simplify it, you have one missing tooth or two missing teeth and you have some adjacent teeth to that space. What we end up doing is prepping those teeth slightly and we get the lab to fabricate a three-unit crown or four-unit crowns that are attached to each other, you know, call it a bridge, and that gets glued over those teeth. When the patient is missing teeth and there is no anchors on either side of that missing space, that’s when it’s a great benefit to have dental implants because we’re able to place those dental implants and place bridges on top of those.
Perfect Your Smile With Custom Crowns & Bridges
When it comes to restoring smiles, dental crowns and bridges are versatile solutions that can transform your oral health. Whether you’re dealing with damaged teeth or gaps in your smile, your dentist will recommend a custom crown or bridge designed to address your specific dental concerns. These time-tested restorations can strengthen weakened teeth, replace missing ones, and help you regain your confident smile.
Depending on what’s going on with your smile, your dentist may recommend:
- Dental Crowns – Protect and strengthen damaged teeth with a durable crown. It restores function while preventing additional damage.
- Dental Bridge – Fill the gap in your smile with a traditional bridge. It uses neighboring teeth as anchors to secure your replacement teeth firmly in place.
- Single-Tooth Implant and Crown – Replace a missing tooth from root to crown with a dental implant topped by a custom-crafted restoration.
- Implant Bridges – Gain better stability with bridges anchored by dental implants rather than natural teeth. You’ll also protect your jaw from the bone loss that occurs after losing teeth.
We’ve transformed the traditional dental impression process with cutting-edge technology.
