Patients visit our Royal Oak MI dental office from across the state and even out of state to replace missing teeth with dental implants. We took a deep dive into dental implants many years ago because we noticed how implants drastically improved the lives of our patients.

Having missing teeth is a major health concern. You can’t eat the food that you love, and it’s difficult to smile with confidence. Our office, North Oaks Dental, has a team of experts who can correct your smile flaws and even replace missing teeth. Dr. Daboul is a leading implant dentist who has even written a book about what patients can expect from their dental implants.

You can find the book here: Getting Ready for Dental Implant Surgery. We are using advanced technology to diagnose and treat your dental problems. Here’s what you can expect on the day of your dental implant treatment.

Planning Out Your Treatment

When you visit our office for dental implant treatment, you’ll be greeted by a member of our staff. We take pride in making patients feel comfortable and like a member of our family. During your initial consultation, we’ll take images of the teeth and oral cavity and discuss your smile options. The key to placing successful dental implants comes with the planning. That’s why we’re using 3D imaging to find the most appropriate location for the implant. Most dental offices do not have this technology. In fact, you seldom find this technology outside of a hospital. But we have it here in our office.
Once we have the images ready, we’ll show you exactly where the implants will be placed and show you how much it will cost. You’ll know exactly what to expect before the day of your treatment.

Placing Dental Implants

On the day of your procedure, we’ll make sure you are comfortable and ready. Our office has a nurse anesthetist who will make sure you are comfortable and at ease in the dental chair. We offer all stages of sedation dentistry, from laughing gas to heavy forms of sedation that allow you to get the treatment you need without the sights, smells, and sounds of the procedure.

We often use IV sedation for patients who are fearful of the treatment or for those who need extensive dental work. With the combination of our sedation dentistry, advanced technology, and advanced training, we minimize pain for our patients and increase the successfulness of the treatment.
Placing an implant is considered oral surgery, but the treatment is extremely successful and almost anyone is a candidate for dental implants. We provide traditional dental implants and even mini dental implants for those who have jawbone recession. In some cases, we can extract teeth and place dental implants in a single visit as part of our same-day smile solution.
