How To Locate A Comprehensive Dental Office [BLOG]

North Oaks Dental Office Sign in Royal Oak, MI

The community of Royal Oak MI is special to the team here at North Oaks Dental. As such, we pride ourselves on being able to treat patients from the surrounding area, of all ages and backgrounds. Accordingly, we have invested in state-of-the-art technology and the training that allows us to offer the most advanced care. We also have several great dentists in our office, including two board-certified orthodontists, and therefore we can treat just about any issue that comes up. Today we want to talk about a few ways our place is unique. Keep reading to see why this should be your new home for all of your oral health needs, and then be sure to call us at 248-712-1522 to request your next appointment at our comprehensive dental office.

We Have Board-Certified Orthodontists

Lots of folks want to straighten out their smile situations. Unfortunately, few dental offices in the area have board-certified orthodontists on their team. But we do! So, when you come to North Oaks Dental, we can treat you or your kids with either traditional braces or an alternative solution like Invisalign. The latter is a clear orthodontic aligners system that uses smooth aligners to gradually move your unruly teeth into a better-looking, healthier position.

With Invisalign, there are no fixed appliances and you’re able to remove the aligners whenever you want to eat, snap a selfie, or clean your teeth. Most patients love that this treatment is discreet (the aligners are virtually invisible) and the fact that it wraps up in only about 12 months, depending on your unique situation when we get started.

We Are Big On Patient Comfort

We know full well that if a particular patient isn’t comfortable in our dental office, or during a certain procedure, they are less likely to return. If you don’t visit the dentist, that won’t be good for anyone since you’re putting yourself at a higher risk of serious dental problems down the road. That’s part of the reason why we have developed a series of comfort options for our patients.

As it happens, we even have an in-office nurse anesthetist who can administer a variety of safe, comfortable sedation dentistry options. Hardly any dental offices in the area offer the full range of sedation, but we do. We offer laughing gas, also known as inhalation sedation, oral conscious sedation (that comes in a pill), or IV sedation. Our IV sedation is our heaviest form of sedation, and it’s ideal for patients who are extremely nervous or those who need extensive dental work all in one sitting. These measures eliminate discomfort, and also help the time pass more quickly.

We Replace Missing Teeth Here

If you are one of the millions of Americans currently living with the aftermath of tooth loss as an adult, we can replace your missing teeth with the best tooth replacement option in modern dentistry, dental implants. Our implants are made from titanium and naturally merge with the jawbone, preserving the jawbone and giving you a more youthful appearance. We place the implants using the advantage of 3-D technology to help us find the most appropriate location for the implant.

The thing to keep in mind is that we can place your implants right here in our office, rather than outsourcing the job to an external oral surgeon, as will have to happen at many other area offices.

We Always Have Room For You

These are just a few of the things that set us apart. If you like what you just heard about our comprehensive dental office, all you have to do is now call us at 248-712-1522 or contact us online to schedule your next easy appointment at North Oaks Dental. See you when you get here!
